This was our view from the top of the crater, panning from Mt. Adams to Mt. Rainier and Spirit Lake to the lava dome to the edge of the crater.
The trip down was faster than the trip up. Well, till we tried to get back to the trail anyway. Here's Michael sliding down the snow. I'm foot skiing beside him with the camera.
