Derwent Water Keswick is on a lake called Derwent Water. The name of the lake and several other places in the area were named by German miners in the 16th century.
miniature golf course Hope Park Hope Park Hope Park, near the lake, was very pretty. It had "miniature golf", which looked like a par 3 course, and "obstacle golf", which we call putt-putt or miniature golf.
