Keswick is absolutely full of Bed and Breakfasts.
This street is lined with them, plus Eden House, the one we stayed at.

The streets of Keswick.

Keswick is on a lake called Derwent Water.
The name of the lake and several other places in the area were named by German miners in the 16th century.
|
Hope Park, near the lake, was very pretty.
It had "miniature golf", which looked like a par 3 course,
and "obstacle golf", which we call putt-putt or miniature golf.
|
There were even more sheep in the area than Bed and Breakfasts.
