Warwick Castle Warwick Castle On Friday, we took the bus to Warwick to get a look at their castle. It was first started by the Normans, around 1080. At that point it was just a mound with a wooden fence. In the 13th and 14th centuries, the fence became stone and a couple of the towers were built. Up until the 19th century, more was added and the insides became quite posh.
